ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The community will have a chance to sample an array of shrimp, oyster and crab dishes while listening to live music March 3-4 as St. Petersburg hosts its second annual Seafood & Music Festival March 3-4 in Vinoy Park in downtown St. Pete.
Sponsored by the City of St. Petersburg and the St. Petersburg Arts Alliance, the festival combines two favorite Florida pastimes: listening to music and enjoying seafood.
This year’s festival will feature a smorgasbord of seafood dishes using fresh, indigenous and sustainable resources from Florida’s coastal waters that have been expertly prepared by the area’s finest chefs.
In addition, there will be side dishes, vegetarian dishes, desserts and alcoholic and nonalcoholic tropical drinks.
While seafood lovers dine on their favorite dishes, they will enjoy a variety of live music by top local and regional artists including soul, rock, R&B, jazz, Caribbean and Big Band sounds.
In between, visitors can peruse a marketplace showcasing arts, crafts and fine products with a nautical theme, along with gourmet food products and specialty items.
Hours both Saturday and Sunday are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. General admission is $5. VIP Tent admission is $130 and includes an open raw bar serving shrimp, oysters and crab legs, an open bar and a private lounge area with dedicated service staff.
